I finished the two weeks lectures in both Linköping University and MIC of Uppsala University, although still, some project is supposed to be accomplished within another month. A short meeting was taken in the Linnaeus Centre for Bioinformatics (LCB) in BMC of Uppsala University this Tuesday, which gave me an opportunity to show my face to all the staffs in LCB. Actually Örjan's group locates in the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), which means I will not often work in LCB. However, seminars and meetings there will still be available for me.
I should say that I've improved during the two weeks' 'traveling course'. I got myself more involved in the academic environment in Sweden. Things goes better and better, faster and faster for me. I'm really looking forward to anything in the future. Well, another thing, which is how my life will go besides these academic activities. I'm curious about this, indeed, but, who knows...
Another tough and stupid thing is the 'amazing' CNY Renminbi. How can it become so? 100 of my salary in SEK can only give 92 CNY, and what's even worse, I have no idea about the rate next summer or even further. So, you my dear friends, don't expect me to be rich when I'm back to the mainland - I'm a victim suffering from the bubbles of Chinese economy!
